December 2010

The Quality by Design (QbD) Forum sponsored by KPA is organizing on 26/12/2010 a special round table to discuss the impact of QbD on clinical research. Speakers include Dr. Yafit Stark, Prof Ron Kenett, Dr. Serge Guzy and Prof ZviaAgur.

October 2010

Wiley has published, one month ahead of time, the groundbreaking book edited by Ron Kenett and Yossi Raanan on OPERATI ONAL RISK MANAGEMENT: A practical approach to intelligent data analysis. For the printed version click John Wiley and Sons, 2010 . For the on line version click here .

September 2010

KPA participated in the 10th ENBIS conference in Antwerp Belgium. Professor Kenett has been recognized at the conference as the contributor with most papers to ENBIS conferences in it's first decade.

August 2010

KPA completed several projects focused on generating insights from state of the art analytics. The technology behind these projects combines analysis of textual, unstructured qualitative data with quantitative information to calculate integrated priority or risk scores. Examples include a Market Scan capability where requests to identify proper partners for joint ventures, outsourcing or marketing channels are collected via a questionnaire and a matching algorithm prioritizes target geographies based on web based information.

July 2010

KPA delivered a special Workshop on Six Sigma in Public Services in Ljubljana, Slovenia, in conjunction with the 8th International Conference On Teaching Statistics. Participants included education experts from Holland, Pakistan, Philippines, United Arab Emirates, Brazil and Spain.

Prof Ron Kenett organized session on Evidence Based Management in the 8th International Conference On Teaching Statistics that was held in Ljubljana, Slovenia. For details on the session click here.

June 2010

KPA launched the first version of a state if the art interactive tool for deriving information from merged data bases in support of improvement and follow up actions. The KPA Drill Down Tool (DDT) is fully integrated in the Total Customer Experience cycle that includes customer satisfaction surveys and focused improvement tasks. May 2010

KPA sponsored, on May 5-6th, 2010, the second conference on Quality by Design in the Pharmaceutical Industry, to be held at the Hebrew University. Other sponsors include the Hebrew University, the University of Wisconsin, Teva Perrigo and ENBIS. The program and presentations is available on line.

April 2010

KPA sponsored the third meeting of isENBIS, the Israeli Local Network of ENBIS, the European Network of Business and Industrial Statistics will be held on April 25th. at the Open University in Raanana.

Yossi Raanan and Ron Kenett completed editing a book on Operational Risk Management to be published by Wiley in November 2010. For an introduction to the book and it's table of content click here.

March 2010

Prof Kenett was an invited speaker to a panel on quality trends in Israel in the 16th Industrial Engineering and Management Conference in Tel Aviv. He covered, in his address, 25 years of quality management, Six Sigma trends and the future of integrated management systems. For a copy of his slides (in Hebrew) click here.

February 2010

Prof Kenett gave a keynote address on integrating quality, risk and operations management at the International Symposium on Stochastic Models in Reliability Engineering, Life Sciences and Operations Management held at the Shamoon College of Engineering in Beer Sheva.
